Née en 1954 à Francfort, en Allemagne, Ellen von Unwerth est une photographe de mode de renommée internationale. Pendant 10 ans, elle mène une carrière de mannequin avant de passer derrière l’objectif. Elle travaille pour des magazines de mode, comme Vogue, Vanity Fair, etc. Elle est connue pour avoir été la première à avoir photographié la mannequin Claudia Schiffer.
